How we work
None of this is revolutionary — it's just how we'd want the software we use to behave. Where there's a limit, we'd rather tell you than pretend there isn't one.
We never want to see your personal files, and we never ask you to upload them. Where an app can work entirely on your device, it does, and nothing is uploaded for the sake of it.
We price for ownership rather than rent. Where an app charges, it charges once, and free tiers stay genuinely free. Some upcoming data services will need a subscription to cover what they cost to run — where they do, we will keep the tiers and the cancellation as flexible as we can.
We test thoroughly and release features once they are complete, which leaves us free to keep adding to them properly. Native where native matters, quick on older hardware, and legible to the people using it.
Support goes to the people who wrote the code. No ticket maze, no chatbot standing between you and an answer.
